Hi everyone this is Mrs. Claus, I would like to tell you a little bit about Santa Jim Thibodeau. You see I have known him for many years full of fun, love, hope, faith, happiness, adventure and celebration.

Santa Jim remembers, as a small boy growing up in a rural farming community in Maine, that Christmas was always a time that everyone looked forward to each to, the people, decorations, the gifts, the food and of course the visit to see the big man in the Red Suit. To him it was like going to see your local Priest or the King. As a matter of fact Santa Jim loves to tell the story when he was a little boy sitting on Santa’s lap. It was in a Sears and Roebuck department store in Presque Isle Maine. He can remember that old Santa sitting in the big red chair, bigger than life itself. He recalls that the Santa seemed to know everything about him. Little did he know that Santa was Santa Boyd, Jim’s uncle. He made it so jolly and believable; to Santa Jim he was the real deal. Looking back Santa Jim says those times were magical and believes that is when the seed was planted in his heart to wear the red suit.

I have been with Santa Jim now for over forty years we have raised a beautiful family together, a daughter and a son. We are blessed with two amazing grandchildren and a grand dog. I must say it’s been the most amazing adventure of my life. I have loved being with a character such as Santa Jim, who always brings faith, optimism, fun and passion to all that he puts his hands to. Santa Jim is always ready to tell a story, to hear the dreams and wishes of young children, to encourage and inspire them to believe in themselves and to be kind and thoughtful towards others. Santa Jim, being a real bearded Santa, is always in character and always has something uplifting to say to all people that he encounters. Santa Jim believes that the only true gift he has to give to anyone is Love and he chooses to give it freely to all
